This aluminum board is probably the closest you will ever get to the original 70s slalom vibe. We have deleted the shaky behavior of its ancestors but preserved the nimble and quick spirit of a short wheelbase. Lower to the ground and with a narrow shape it demands a more controlled riding technique.
Equipped with thicker, shock-absorbing riser pads and a wheelbase near modern skateboards, hovering through the city becomes a new sensation. We were able to carry out the transformation to a modern form of transport. The specially heat-treated aluminum alloy allows stability and power transmission at any speed.

David Carson’s revolutionary perspective on typography and layout has received global acclaim. Though he began developing his rule-breaking style at Transworld Skateboarding Magazine in 1984, it was when Carson became art director of Surfer Magazine in the late 80s, that he’d hone the ‘vernacular’ typography and fractured images-style that he is synonymous with today.
From former pro surfer to one of the most influential graphic designers of his generation, Carson subsequently art directed alternative music/lifestyle magazine Ray Gun, before establishing his own studio, David Carson Design, in New York. His work has garnered 230 awards and, owning a house overlooking “the best wave in the Caribbean”, he still rarely misses a swell.
